அபோலைசிஸ் அல்லது தற்சிதைவு என்றால் என்ன ?
டீனியா சோலியம் என்ற நாடாப்புழுக்களில், வயதான பழுத்த கண்டங்கள், உடற்பகுதியான ஸ்ட்ரோபிலாவின் பின்முனையில் உள்ளன. இத்தகு பழுத்த கண்டங்கள் தனியாகவோ அல்லது தொகுப்பாகவோ உடலில் இருந்து பிரியும் செயலுக்கு அபோலைசிஸ் அல்லது தற்சிதைவு என்று பெயர்.
What is apolysis ?
In the tapeworm, Taenia solium the gravid (ripe) proglottids are the oldest at the posterior end of the strobila. The gravid proglottids are regularly cut off either singly or in groups from the posterior end by a process called apolysis.
