வேறுபட்ட செல் சேர்க்கை என்றால் என்ன?
முற்றிலும் வேறுபட்ட இரு இனச் செல்கள் ஒன்றிணையும் முறை ‘வேறுபட்ட செல் சேர்க்கை’ எனப்படும். இவ்வகைக் கருவுறுதல் உயர்வகை விலங்குகளில் நடைபெறுகிறது. ஆனால், அவ்விலங்குகளில் ‘வேறுபட்ட செல் சேர்க்கை’ ‘ஒருங்கிணைவு’ போன்ற வார்த்தைகளை விட கருவுறுதல் என்னும் வார்த்தைப் பயன்பாடே நடைமுறையில் உள்ளது. எ.கா. உயர்நிலை முதுகெலும்பற்றவை மற்றும் அனைத்து முதுகெலும்பிகள்.
What is Anisogamy ?
The fusion of dissimilar gametes is called anisogamy. Anisogamy occurs in higher animals but it is customary to use the term fertilization instead of anisogamy or syngamy. e.g. higher invertebrates and all vertebrates.
